Privacy Policy

Phosphoria is a graphics generator for Apple TV. It does not collect any data about you. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting service and no third-party software development kit. Its App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”

What is collected

Nothing. Phosphoria never asks who you are, and there is nothing in it that could answer the question.

What leaves your device

Nothing. Phosphoria contains no networking code of any kind. It cannot send information anywhere, because it never opens a connection.

What is stored on your device

Your own settings — screen layout, resolution, which images and fades are enabled, drawing and colour-cycling speed, and whether the advanced part of the configuration screen is showing. These are kept in the app's private storage on your Apple TV so that the app looks the way you left it. They are readable only by Phosphoria, they are not sent anywhere, and deleting the app deletes them. This is declared in the app's privacy manifest as a use of the UserDefaults API for Apple's approved reason CA92.1 — “to read and write information that is only accessible to the app itself”.

Children

Phosphoria is rated 4+ and is safe for anyone. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either.

Changes to this policy

If this ever changes, the new policy will be published at this address and the date above will be updated. Any version of the app that starts collecting data will say so here first.
